Effective September 17, 2026 · Zombie Blocks Attack! for iPhone
Beau Kelsey develops and operates Zombie Blocks Attack! and is responsible for the data practices described in this policy.
Zombie Blocks Attack! is designed to play without creating a game account. This policy explains how game progress, purchases, optional pseudonymous play analytics, advertising measurement, Game Center features, and support requests are handled.
Progress and settings on your device
The game stores your level progress, stars, earned upgrades, best scores, and game settings on your device. This information lets you continue playing and keep your preferences. Endless attempts stay in memory while the app is running and are paused when you switch apps. A fresh launch starts a new attempt; best scores remain saved. The game also keeps local play records, such as waves reached, selected power-ups, and completed or ended attempts, to help diagnose issues and tune difficulty when you choose to share them. Your full saved game stays on your device. Separate, limited reports can be sent only if you agree to the optional reporting described below.
Optional play analytics
Before reporting begins, the game asks whether you want to share play statistics. If you agree, it sends session and gameplay reports: the app build and iOS major version; screens visited; session and active play duration; Adventure levels attempted and reached; wins, losses, retries, interruptions and voluntary exits; Endless waves; volleys, hits, blocks destroyed, scores, stars, stones, power-ups used and collected, upgrades, treasure rewards, revives and portal progress. Menu interactions include tutorial completion, viewing the unlock screen, starting or cancelling a purchase, restores, and verified new purchases with their product, quantity, amount and currency when available. Reports use calendar dates and elapsed durations. Periodic checkpoints help measure interrupted sessions; a paused or background app does not count as active play.
When you agree, the game creates a random installation code to group sessions and attempts and measure returning installations. It is not derived from a hardware or account identifier. This is pseudonymous information: it distinguishes an installation, not a known person. Different devices, reinstallations, or resetting the reporting choice can produce separate codes. We do not combine this code with identity records, send it to Meta, sell it, or use it for advertising.
Our reporting service is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. If available, the service derives an approximate country and region code from the network connection, then stores only those coarse codes with the report. This may be inaccurate, for example when using a VPN. We do not request GPS permission, collect precise location or city, or store your IP address, cookies or request headers in the gameplay database. Hosting providers process network information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Reports do not contain your name, email, Apple Account, Game Center ID, advertising ID, payment details, purchase transaction identifier or full saved game. Collected reports are not publicly accessible.
Reporting choices and retention
You can decline reporting and use every game feature normally. To stop reporting later, turn off Share play statistics in Settings. This stops new collection, discards unsent reports, and deletes the random installation code from the app. Turning reporting on again creates a new code. The app keeps up to 100 attempt reports and 250 analytics snapshots locally for up to seven days while retrying an unavailable connection. Reports already received remain associated with the previous random code but cannot be matched to your identity through the game. The service removes reports older than 90 days when it processes new reports; if no new reports arrive, removal occurs when reporting next resumes. Update checks
The App Store version checks Apple’s public app listing for a newer release and compares version numbers on your device. This check does not send your game progress or play records to Apple. You can choose whether to open the App Store and update.
Purchases and revives
Apple processes the optional Full Adventure unlock and consumable revive packs. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit service to verify purchases and restore Full Adventure access. The developer does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles purchase records under its own privacy policy and store terms.
Free revive balances and their one-time reward marker are saved on your device. Purchased revive balances, verified transaction identifiers, and records that prevent duplicate credit or spending are stored in the device’s Keychain. These records are not sent to our play-report service. Revive balances do not sync between devices. Keychain records may remain after removing and reinstalling the app.
Optional Game Center
If you choose to sign in and share scores, the game sends your best Endless score and total Adventure stars to Apple Game Center. Apple manages your Game Center identity and leaderboard visibility. You can stop future score sharing using the Game Center controls in the game. This does not delete scores already submitted to Apple or sign you out of your system Game Center account.
Advertising measurement and your choice
The game does not display ads. We use Meta’s iOS SDK to measure the Facebook and Instagram ads that promote the game. Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether you allow tracking for this purpose. You can decline and continue playing normally, or change your choice later in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you allow tracking, we send Meta app activation, tutorial completion, each Adventure level’s first completion on this installation, and verified new purchases, including the product, amount and currency. Meta’s SDK can use your device’s advertising identifier and its own app/device identifiers to connect these events with ads. We do not send your name, email, Apple Account, Game Center ID, payment details, full saved game, or the random code from optional play reports to Meta. We restrict SDK event use to analytics and conversion measurement. The app stores milestone and transaction identifiers locally to avoid duplicate events; it does not send historical purchases when measurement is introduced or a purchase is restored.
Before permission, or if tracking is declined or restricted, the app disables advertising-identifier collection and does not explicitly report activation, gameplay milestones or purchases to Meta. Apple’s privacy-preserving ad attribution can still send delayed, aggregated installation/conversion reports to the advertising network. The SDK also contacts Meta for measurement configuration and may process limited operational and diagnostic data. These SDK requests and Apple attribution are separate from the optional play analytics. Meta handles information it receives under the Meta Privacy Policy; its retention and privacy controls apply to information already received. Changing your tracking choice stops future explicit events and does not recall events already sent.
The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or GPS location. Coarse network location is used only for the optional play analytics described above. We do not sell your personal information.
Home screen motion
The home screen can use device tilt to gently move its artwork. Motion readings are used only while that screen is active and are not stored or transmitted. The effect respects your device’s Reduce Motion setting.
Support and feedback
You can contact support at zombieblocksapp@gmail.com. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device details, description of a problem, and any screenshots. We use it to respond and troubleshoot, and retain it only as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations. Avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information. If you send feedback through TestFlight, Apple processes that feedback and makes it available to the developer.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can play without Game Center or a purchase. Erase all progress in Settings removes local progress, play records and queued reports while keeping settings, purchase access, revive balances, and the reporting choice. Turning reporting off separately deletes the random installation code. This does not remove reports already received by the reporting service. Removing the app and its data removes its local game saves and reporting code; copies retained in device backups are managed through your device’s backup settings. Removing the app does not delete Apple’s purchase history or previously submitted Game Center records. Apple account and service data are managed through Apple. You can request help with support correspondence using the contact information on the Support page.
To request deletion of information we hold, email zombieblocksapp@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy deletion request” and describe the information or correspondence involved. Do not send passwords or payment details. We do not have a game account directory that identifies individual players. We will explain what we can identify and delete, and any information Apple or Meta controls separately. You can manage Meta information and deletion requests through Meta’s Privacy Center. Denying tracking stops future explicit Meta gameplay and purchase events; removing the app does not withdraw data already received by Apple or Meta.
Children
The game does not ask players for their age or require an account. A parent or guardian should handle support requests and manage purchase permissions for a child. If a child has sent personal information to support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion.
External services and policy updates
Apple services and any website you choose to visit follow their own privacy policies. This policy covers the game; website hosting may have separate logging or cookies. We will update this page when the game’s data practices change and revise the effective date.
